Reiki-Healing Touch

I teach all three levels of Reiki; Reiki I, II & III. For those of you who may not be familiar with Reiki, Reiki is a form of therapeutic touch or healing touch. Students learn concepts and develop skills in energy-based therapy. Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art. It means "Universal Life Force Energy". I work with energy allowing it to flow into areas of the body that are in need. When Reiki is applied it brings about deep relaxation and a sense of well being . Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement that anyone can use. Reiki works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.
Energy healing involves understanding how the body creates and responds to electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields including light and sound and other forms of energy such as heat, pressure, chemical energy and gravity. Reiki and other forms of hands-on-healing are another form of energy medicine based on scientifically measurable energy fields emitted from the healer's hands. (i.e. other forms of energy electrocardiogram, magnetic biopsy etc.)
The benefits of Reiki are many. Reiki energy goes to the disease or its emotional source. It gives pain relief, relaxation and stress reduction. Reiki creates a greater sense of balance and personal well-being . Many problems may require more than one session especially chronic diseases and conditions. Reiki can also benefit Alzheimer's, Dementia and related conditions by creating clarity of mind, relieving anxiety and physical discomfort.
For example: one 77-year-old Alzheimer's woman I cared for had very thin skin and she would get skin tears from even the slightest brush against a wall etc. Many Alzheimer's/Dementia sufferers run into walls and sliding glass doors as a result of distorted spatial perception and vision. We could not use band-aids on her, as she was much like a 2 yr old and would pull off the band-aids, making the skin tear worse. I would use Reiki on her skin tears and it would stop the bleeding almost immediately and then apply a product called liquid Band-Aid. Using Reiki healed the skin tears in ½ the time with daily five-minute Reiki treatments.
Now the main difference between Reiki Healing Touch and Therapeutic Touch is the attunement process given by the Reiki teacher.
The ability to give Reiki energy treatments is passed on to the student through an attunement process given to the student from the teacher. The attunement turns on the student's ability to channel Reiki and there is a noticeable difference in the strength before and after the attunement. A frequency or set of frequencies is passed from a teacher to a student via the energy field and the student will always remember that. It is similar to the memory process such as the electromagnetic signature of a substance when transferred to water. The human body contains a water system that is like an antenna for fields in the environment, and the water system can pick up the frequencies and remember them much as water can remember the signal from a homeopathic remedy.
There is a fundamental law in physics that says when currents flow through conductors such as wires or living tissues, magnetic fields must be produced in the surrounding space. Since living tissues are conductors of electricity, the laws of physics require that the currents set up by the heart and other muscles, the brain and peripheral nerves, will produce fields in the space around the body. These are called bio-magnetic fields. The Nobel Prize winner Brian Josephson developed a sensitive magnetometer called a SQUID. These magnetometers are now used in medical research worldwide to study the bio-magnetic energy of the human energy field.
So, Reiki is both powerful and gentle and has aided in the healing of many illnesses and injuries. For example, recovery from surgery can be faster. It aids the body's own natural healing abilities and works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. It can also be used on animals, plants and inanimate objects.
In my courses, we study how the human energy field (HEF) has been demonstrated and what scientific studies and instruments have been used to validate and measure the human energy field in addition to practical applications.
Students who take my courses receive 8 CE credit hours for Reiki levels I and II, and 21 CE credit hours for Reiki III.
My courses of study entitle you to a certificate in Reiki Healing touch, which incorporates a variety of basic to advanced healing modalities.
Reiki certification is sequenced in 4 levels allowing the practitioner to move from beginner to advanced practitioner, expert and instructor.
